Praxis Housing Initiatives Inc., is a non-profit that provides chronically homeless people with multiple diagnoses with housing and other services to stabilize and lead them to independence. Praxis Housing Initiatives Inc. is NYC's largest provider of transitional housing to homeless people with HIV/AIDS and is one of city's lowest cost/highest service housing providers. We operate four residences in Manhattan, as well as a Brooklyn-based scatter site program, and we house nearly 400 people a night and approximately 1,200 homeless individuals with HIV/AIDS each year.
